Julie King is a watercolor artist and stationer based in Charleston, South Carolina. Known for her whimsical illustrations and signature handwriting, she brings a unique perspective to each new collaboration, but especially to luxury wedding stationery. Her passion for art started as a young child, and she holds both a Bachelors Degree in Painting and a Masters Degree in Fine Art. She has worked as a creative in the wedding stationery industry for over 20 years. Julie's work has been published in Vogue, Over the Moon, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, Carats & Cake, the Knot, and Style Me Pretty.

carolin knight, production manager

With a background in Management, Production and Product Design, Carolin brings a new vision to production and assembly at Julie King Studio.  With a career in bookbinding, Carolin feels right at home amongst paper, paint and ribbon. 

An entrepreneurial spirit motivates her to constantly learn new skills, from furniture building and metal-work to fine hand embroidery. Recently moving back to Charleston with her husband keeps her busy exploring new finds in the Charleston of their childhood, enjoying sea-air, good music and great food.
